There's no kit to follow and no sample piece to copy. You sit down at your workbench, your instructor shows you how pinching, coiling, and slab-building actually work, and then you build whatever you've been picturing — a mug, a planter, a lopsided ashtray, a full set of mismatched bowls, whatever.
The tools are small-batch production grade, which means the clay responds the way it's supposed to and your piece holds its shape while you refine it. Texture stamps, carved lines, sculptural details — all fair game. Your instructor is there the whole time to help you problem-solve without taking the piece over.
This works for a solo evening, a date, a group of friends, or a mom-and-kid afternoon. The pace is yours: you have the full 1.5 hours and no one is rushing the table.
Your piece stays at the studio to dry and fire. A few weeks later you'll get an email that it's ready — come back to glaze it yourself ($16.50 per piece) and leave with something functional and finished. No clay experience needed, just the willingness to get your hands dirty.
